HACST Direct Evaporative Air Coolers use water-wetted pads and fan-driven airflow to lower incoming air temperature. They are a practical option for workshops, warehouses and other well-ventilated spaces in dry climates.
Warm outdoor air is drawn through wetted cooling pads. As water evaporates, the air temperature is reduced before the conditioned air is supplied to the space. The system works best where adequate ventilation and suitable climate conditions are available.
